Congressional Labor Caucus Announces State of the Union Guests from the Labor Movement
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressional Labor Caucus Co-Chairs Representatives Mark Pocan (WI-02), Steven Horsford (NV-04), Debbie Dingell (MI-06), and Donald Norcross (NJ-01) announced 2026 State of the Union guests from the labor movement, which includes local workers & union leaders.
“One year into his second term, President Trump continues to be the biggest union buster in U.S. history,” said the Co-Chairs. “His administration is stripping workers of their rights, slashing civil service union contracts, gutting agencies tasked with protecting workers and collective bargaining rights, and killing infrastructure and clean energy projects that create good-paying union jobs. Tonight, Labor Caucus members are bringing guests from the labor movement to make one thing clear: we are fighting every day to lower costs, protect workers, and level the playing field for working families.
Labor Caucus Members’ State of the Union guests from the labor movement include:
- Lynn Blais, President of the United Nurses and Allied Professionals (Rep. Seth Magaziner)
- Matt DiLauro, President of United Steelworkers Local 2L (Rep. Emilia Sykes)
- Denise Abbott, President of the WNY Area Labor Federation (Rep. Tim Kennedy)
- Gerardo Orozco Guzman, on behalf of his father Eustaquio Orozco Verdusco, a workers’ rights organizer with Centro De Trabajadores Unidos En La Lucha (Rep. Ilhan Omar)
- Rena Bumbray-Graves, Service Employees International Union Member (Rep. Bobby Scott)
