Congressional Labor Caucus Co-Chairs Secure Prevailing Wage Protections in Bipartisan Housing Package

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Labor Caucus Co-Chairs  Steven Horsford (NV-04), Donald Norcross (NJ-01), Mark Pocan (WI-02), and Debbie Dingell (MI-06) issued the following statement after securing prevailing wage provisions in the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act:

This critical piece of legislation addresses our nation's pressing need to develop accessible housing for all. Building trades workers have always been a vital piece of our country's development. The Davis-Bacon Act's prevailing wage mandates have been the core of their compensation structure for over 90 years.
