Congressional Labor Caucus Launches Nationwide Meet Union Members Where They're At Week of Action

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Labor Caucus co-chairs Debbie Dingell (MI-06), Steven Horsford (NV-04), Donald Norcross (NJ-01), and Mark Pocan (WI-02) issued the following statement kicking off the nationwide Meet Union Members Where They're At Week of Action:

“Labor unions are a vital pillar of our democracy, giving workers a seat at the table to transform their own working and living conditions. While we remain focused on passing the PRO Act to protect the right to organize, we are energized by this Week of Action. This initiative offers an opportunity to meet workers exactly where they are. We applaud every congressional office participating in this effort.”

During the Memorial Day recess, the Meet Union Members Where They're At Week of Action will bring Labor Caucus members face-to-face with local workers. As lawmakers return home for the district work week, they will engage directly with union members to address critical issues ranging from wages to collective bargaining. House Democrats stand ready to amplify the voices of working people.
