Labor Caucus Co-Chairs Respond to Trump Administration Ending Collective Bargaining Rights for TSA Officers

March 7, 2025

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressional Labor Caucus Co-Chairs Reps. Donald Norcross (NJ-01), Mark Pocan (WI-02), Debbie Dingell (MI-06), and Steven Horsford (NV-04) released the following statement in response to the Trump Administration ending collective bargaining rights for Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers:

“The Trump Administration’s decision to cancel collective bargaining rights for 47,000 TSA workers is union-busting, plain and simple. These hardworking agents — many of whom are veterans — keep our skies safe and are the frontline of defense for the millions of people who fly every year, yet this Administration has decided to violate their right to join a union.

“This is a direct attack on the rights of working people. We call on the Trump Administration to immediately reverse this action, and we are committed to standing with federal workers to continue fighting back against these baseless attacks.”
