Labor Caucus Co-Chairs Statement on Confirmation of Chavez-DeRemer as Secretary of Labor

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressional Labor Caucus Co-Chairs Reps. Mark Pocan (WI-02), Debbie Dingell (MI-06), Steven Horsford (NV-04), and Donald Norcross (NJ-01) released the following statement on the confirmation of Lori Chavez-DeRemer as Secretary of Labor:

“Our top priority is advancing a pro-worker policy agenda, and we are ready to work with Secretary Chavez-DeRemer on the issues where she is willing to stand with workers.

“During her tenure in Congress, Secretary Chavez-DeRemer took several steps to support workers and protect collective bargaining rights, including by cosponsoring the PRO Act. We hope that she will continue this approach at the Department of Labor and use her position to advocate on behalf of working people.”
