Labor Caucus Co-Chairs Statement on Passage of House Republicans’ Reconciliation Bill

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressional Labor Caucus Co-Chairs Reps. Debbie Dingell (MI-06), Steven Horsford (NV-04), Mark Pocan (WI-02), and Donald Norcross (NJ-01) released the following statement on the passage of House Republicans’ reconciliation bill:

“House Republicans’ reconciliation bill is a rip off for working people, plain and simple. It will kill clean energy and manufacturing investments that are supporting good jobs, cut workers’ retirement benefits, and slash key programs that working people rely on like Medicaid, Medicare, and SNAP — all to provide tax cuts for billionaires and corporations. House Republicans know this bill is a disaster for the American people, and that’s why they jammed it through in the dead of the night. We strongly oppose this budget that makes life worse for millions of hardworking American families at the expense of tax cuts for the wealthy.”
