Labor Caucus Co-Chairs Statement on the VA Stripping Collective Bargaining Rights

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressional Labor Caucus Co-Chairs Reps. Donald Norcross (NJ-01), Steven Horsford (NV-04), Debbie Dingell (MI-06), and Mark Pocan (WI-02) released the following statement on the Trump Administration stripping collective bargaining rights from workers across the Department of Veterans Affairs:

“We will always stand with workers and their right to collectively bargain. The Trump administration is attacking America’s workers once again, now stripping collective bargaining rights from hundreds of thousands of federal employees at the Department of Veterans Affairs. By taking away their right to a union, this Administration is undermining and jeopardizing the vital services our veterans rely on. We call on all lawmakers to join us in condemning this overreach, protecting against the continued assault on our civil servants, and fighting for veterans.”
