Congressional Labor Caucus Highlights State of the Union Guests From the Labor Movement
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressional Labor Caucus Co-Chairs Representatives Mark Pocan (D-WI), Steven Horsford (D-NV), Debbie Dingell (D-MI), and Donald Norcross (D-NJ) highlighted 2024 State of the Union guests from the labor movement, including local workers, union leaders, and AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler.
“This past year was a historic one for the labor movement, from workers winning record contracts amid skyrocketing support for unions to President Biden being the first sitting President to walk a picket line,” the Co-Chairs said.“We are thrilled that Members are bringing some of the local heroes and national leaders who made these wins possible to this year’s State of the Union address. The Labor Caucus is proud to elevate President Biden’s strong support for labor and his commitment to workers, as well as to honor our guests’ incredible contributions.”
